Before the Tattoo

  1. Moisturize Your Skin:
    Keep the skin hydrated and avoid shaving the area at least 48 hours before.
     

  2. Avoid Alcohol:
    Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before to prevent excessive bleeding.
     

  3. Avoid Drugs:
    Do not use aspirin or medications that affect blood clotting.
     

  4. Prepare the Skin: Ensure the area is clean and free of irritations.

After the Tattoo

  1. Initial Cleaning:
    Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap after 1-2 hours, and pat dry with a clean cloth.
     

  2. Moisturize:
    Apply healing ointment or cream recommended by the artist 2-3 times a day.
     

  3. Avoid Sun and Water:
    Keep the tattoo out of the sun and do not submerge it in water for 2-3 weeks.
     

  4. Avoid Scratching and Picking: Let the skin heal naturally without scratching or picking at scabs.
     

  5. Clothing and Activities: Wear loose clothing and avoid intense exercise that causes excessive sweating until fully healed.
     

Following these steps will help ensure proper healing and maintain the appearance of your tattoo.
